Each year, Amgen commits millions of dollars in financial support to help make a difference in people’s lives.

Amgen’s corporate philanthropy initiatives are very diverse: research grants and medical education grants; unrestricted donations of cash, and equipment; community involvement through corporate sponsorships; and volunteerism by Amgen staff members.

The aim of each avenue of philanthropy bears the same goal: to strengthen the communities and institutions that share our lives and our dreams – and to help dramatically improve people’s lives.
