Amgen has a proud history of working with patient organisations in Australia and our aim is to help provide valuable information and support.
In all of our relationships with patient organisations we are guided by the principles outlined in Working Together - A guide to relationships between health consumer organisations and pharmaceutical companies developed by the Consumers Health Forum of Australia, Medicines Australia and a number of other health consumer organisations. These principles reflect common values of honesty, integrity, trust, respect, maintenance of independence, equity, transparency and mutual benefit.

Event Support - An event or program conducted by the Patient Organisation, which is sponsored by Amgen, whether in whole or in part (e.g. paying for a room rental or meal).
Patient Education - An educational program directed at patients, which is sponsored by Amgen, whether in whole or in part.
Caregiver Education - An educational program directed at patient caregivers, which is sponsored by Amgen, whether in whole or in part.
